斯坦福大学Robert M. Waymouth等报道了α-生育酚Ar1OH、2,4,6-三叔丁基苯酚Ar3OH、丁基化羟基甲苯Ar4OH等电子富集苯酚在酰胺铱氢(PNP)Ir(H)2(PNP=双[2-(二异丙基膦基)乙基]酰胺)电催化醇氧化反应中,作为电化学协同催化。加入苯酚介导物分子能够导致醇催化反应的起始电压有-1.07 V降低至-0.65 V。
