达姆施塔特工业大学Bastian J. M. Etzold等报道了一种新型的“non-nano”碳材料,在脱氢催化反应中展示了类似纳米碳催化剂的活性。通过对基于聚合物的碳前体分子,将软模板法(F127)和离子吸附、催化石墨化结合,从而控制材料的形貌、结构、晶化,通过煅烧热解得到无定形/石墨化碳复合物。随后通过温和条件中进行选择性氧化去除其中的无定形碳组分,得到活性碳催化剂。
