Ni催化乙烯、丙烯酸酯共聚具有较高难度,有鉴于此,加州理工学院Theodor Agapie、Thomas F. Miller III等报道两个Ni(II)催化剂,POP-Ni-py (1)、PONap-Ni-py (2)。这两个催化剂具有较高的热稳定性,与传统的催化剂相比具有更好的催化活性,其中1催化剂能够更好的将极性单体分子参与共聚反应、2催化剂能够改善丙烯酸叔丁酯(tBA)导致的链转移反应。
