Z. Weng等人在Pt/Al2O3催化剂上通过ALD沉积亚单层的SiO2,6次ALD后通过红外测得的Pt的暴露度仅降低1/3,但是该方法调节了表面的酸碱性位点。虽然该方法使得催化肉桂醛的活性稍微下降,但是生成肉桂醇的选择性得到了大幅提升。作者认为Pt周围Si-O-Al界面处的强Brønsted酸性位点的构筑是其选择性提升的原因。
