Z. Bao等人发现,由Ni, Mg, Co等金属离子与没食子酸配体组成的M-gallate MOF 形成了3D Z型孔道结构,其孔道尺寸在3.47-3.69 Å之间,恰好适合分离乙烯(3.28 4.18 4.84 Å3)和乙烷(3.81 4.08 4.82 Å3)。其中Co-gallate对乙烯乙烷的分离比高达52,298 K下乙烯吸附量达3.37 mmol/g,远优于前期报道的最好的MOF材料,NOTT-300.
