北京时间10月3日17时45分左右，2018年诺贝尔化学奖揭晓。美国科学家Frances H. Arnold、George P. Smith和英国科学家Sir Gregory P. Winter获得2018年诺贝尔化学奖。

获奖理由：

酶、多肽和抗体领域开拓性研究

一半：“for the directed evolution of enzymes”

一半：“for the phage display of peptides andantibodies”

今年诺贝尔化学奖得主的主要贡献是进化控制，以及使用进化变化和选择的相同原理，开发设计解决人类化学问题的蛋白质。
